Joanne C. Jobin, is the Principal and founder of IR.INC. The Company, founded in 2009, is focused on providing capital markets advice, undertaking comprehensive roadshows on behalf of its clientele, as well as providing corporate development intelligence, corporate communications and investor relations services to select natural resource and financial industry clients.
Ms. Jobin has over 25 years of dedicated experience in the capital markets industry. She began her career in the fledgling investor relations industry in 1987 with Barrick Gold, where she helped develop its early IR and marketing programs. Since then she has worked in the natural resources sector and managed the investor relations, corporate affairs and communications programs for a number of publicly traded companies, including J.P. Morgan & Co. (Canada), Canadian Tire Corporation, and Meridian Credit Union. Ms. Jobin has held senior IRO positions in a number of companies including IAMGOLD, Yamana Gold, Noront Resources, Excellon Resources and Jaguar Mining.

Strategic management meetings on a regular basis will be focused on corporate development opportunities, potential financing, and M&A initiatives and the development of marketing strategies focused on targeted audience messaging.
Conferences & Roadshows
IR.INC’s proprietary and comprehensive research database of over 1,000 names include, high net worth individuals, private equity firms, funds, banks, and brokers, can be utilized to appropriately market and introduce your company. IR.INC will hone your message and select target audiences tailored for you at specific major global conferences and arrange all meetings.
IR.INC can undertake and tailor targeted virtual or physical roadshows in major Canadian, American, and European cities on your behalf for capital raise purposes or non-deal roadshows. IR.INC can also collaborate with fiscal agents to work on behalf of its clientele to conduct roadshows.
Marketing & Budgets
IR.INC will develop a yearly rolling cash flow budget which your financial team can incorporate into its overall financial plan. IR.INC will suggest the appropriate key events to ensure that your strategic planning remains on target. IR.INC may also (as appropriate) introduce potential synergistic partners which could positively impact your budget, secure timely appropriate services and ensure that strategies are being met.
IR.INC will work with management to define and develop financing plans, potential M&A activity by introducing management to a number of industry contacts ensuring a collaborative, appropriate, and secure strategy.
IR.INC will work directly with the client and the lead fiscal agents of the IPO consortium, to develop a full logistics plan including domestic and international roadshows to support the raising of funds, full development of all marketing (collateral) materials, arrange for the printing and delivery of all materials during the IPO. IR.INC has successfully completed two of the largest oil and gas IPOs in Canada in partnership with major banks.
Investor Relations Services
IR.INC was developed and built on the basics of good solid “Corporate-style IR Work” coupled with a unique understanding of the global capital markets at large, the Company is pleased to offer the following services as well as undertake all logistics related to each service.
All IR programming is directly linked to your Company’s messaging and vision, and may be institutional or retail-focused and may be combined with a Capital Markets Advisory Services Contract.
Rapid Response To A Changing Environment
During these uncertain times of Covid 19, IR.INC has remained actively engaged with investors and clients via virtual meetings through a secure Zoom license and platform. We have undertaken a number of virtual roadshows and have engaged in a number of newly reconfigured major Virtual Conferences. IR.INC has been in close contact with a number of global industry conferences and is actively engaged with the conveners while representing the issuer side to ensure that the virtual conference structures meet clients’ needs.
IR.INC is also working with various media groups and digital platforms to ensure that our clients remain well positioned with their target audience. Through these various mediums and platforms, we are engaging and introducing our clientele to new shareholders and audiences.
Conference Selection Attendance 1 On 1 Meetings (now virtual)
IR.INC will assess and screen conferences in advance and then plan an appropriate conference attendance plan to seamlessly coordinate your overall IR/Marketing budget and strategies. IR.INC will undertake the booking of appropriate conferences on your behalf, work on honing and developing your corporate presentation materials. We will book and manage all of your meetings via your dedicated electronic conference meeting calendar as well as book meetings, as necessary, outside of the calendar before, during and after the conference. We will manage all logistics such as booth shipping, assembly (set up and tear down), and hotel bookings required for the conference.
Investor Calls (now virtual)
IR.INC has developed key relationships with a digital platform provider which conducts cost effective virtual town-hall meetings, podcasts and interviews where the CEO can effectively update and deliver the latest company message. Our goal is to attract as many engaged listeners and to provide those investors with a platform to ask questions of management on a timely consistent basis.
IR.INC will manage and arrange investor calls and roadshows on your behalf with a featured corporate presentation.
In many cases your NR is the only and first way of communication to your target audience. IR.INC will work with you to hone your message and ensure that you are delivering the correct message to the correct audiences. We understand communication, and what it takes to communicate exploration, drill results or financial results. We expect news releases to be a collaborative effort with management.
We can also work with you on regulatory issues, ensuring that you are compliant and ensure that you are sending out your release with an industry best practices provider to reach the largest audience group.
News releases will have a better market penetration when it is combined with a cadre of social media handles and consistent updates to the market audience with a fully implemented digital platform, where the CEO can viritually update stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
International Domestic Site Visits
Site visits are typically conducted at least once per annum in order to showcase a near-term production or producing Company’s assets to analysts, investors and potential investors. IR.INC will arrange all aspects of the site visit, including the invitation to all participants, chartering of private aircraft if necessary, arrangement of flights, and all logistics while your guests are on the ground, before and after the site visit. Other key elements of a site visit include follow up with each participant.
Annual General Meeting Management
IR.INC will liaise with your legal representatives and management to ensure that the business of the meeting is delivered to the Board and Executives. Speaker support for addended presentations and speeches on the yearly performance of the Company, including the development of a potential Q&A for the AGM. IR.INC can also book venue and deal with all logistics required for a successful AGM. We will ensure that all TSX guidelines are adhered to for uploading the audio and video (as necessary) of the meeting to your website via webcast.
Development Of Corporate Collateral
IR.INC’s team can produce and develop in a consistent, cost effective and timely manner, all corporate collateral including logos, letterhead and brochures. We can also procure, design and produce all components of your booth or banners, which will be used for conferences and other events where it is important that your company’s profile be prominent. Design consistency for all corporate collateral should be your goal.
